When you buy a new cage, my cockatiel is a little spooked ,will he adjust?

Category: Cockateil Cage Q&A

I’ve read several books I own and on line but I like you guy’s opinions.
I got a comment from someone suggesting I don’t research some of my questions. (not true) Is there anything wrong with me asking you all as well?

yes, give him a week or so to adjust.

Put the new cage next to his old cage. Let him get used to seeing it. Put him in the new cage during your play times with him. In a week or so put him in the new cage permanently. He will adjust, don’t worry.

BTW, it is always good to get as much information as you can so keep asking questions.

Yes, he will adjust in a couple of days. Nothing wrong with you asking your questions here.
