Question by zayzay: Is my cockatiel eating his food?
Every time my cockatiels food tray is empty, I see all his food on the floor or on the floor of his cage. Is he eating the food at all. I’m just concerned about him eating so that he wont die.

Please help.

yes he is, the remains are falling on the bottom of the cage

***** just an extra observation, pick up some off the bottom of cage or on stand and compare to newer food. you will notice cracked mini shells

i have a parakeet and a cockatiel, they both have separated food dish but my parakeet likes eating cockatiel food..is this harmful??

I have had doves, cockatiels, parakeets, and love birds and they all ate the same food as long as it is a quality mix it will be fine. Don’t worry they are okay. Good Luck!!
