How can I make my room bird-friendly?

If I got a smaller bed and got play gyms and other bird toys for my cockatiels would they be happier? And how can I incorporate my birds with things around my room? Any other ideas to make them more comfortable would be great! Thanks(:

Well,if you happen to just receive the bird then it will take weeks or maybe months to get used to it surroundings.If you are going to get a smaller bed and a play gym for the birds,it depends on the bird behavior some birds love to play with toys while some don’t.I have 2 cockatiel and one is always playing with the toys while the other one just stand on its perch.If you want the birds to incorporate with the things surrounding it then I highly suggest let the bird go outside of its cage and explore your stuff more.Then it eventually will get used to its surrounding+its items.I have some ideas to make the birds more comfortable.
1) Make sure your room has nothing that will hurt the bird or make it bleed
2) Get another bird for it so they can have fun (If you cant afford another one then dont get another one)
3) Talk to the bird more often play with it and let it have some millets (Teaching it tricks would be fun too)
