How can i make it easier to get my pet cockatiel into his cage?

I just got a cockatiel and he hates going into his cage. he will find a way onto my shoulder and try to bite me if i take him off. he hates going into it and is always wanting out of it. do you know of any way i can get him to easily go into his cage?
if he does nt want to dont force him so u cld ither take the top of the cage off then put the stick on top (thts wat i did he enjoys it) or let him go in by himself give him time.. btw he mite ne scared f the color u cld search online
