Dino my cockateil being a little cranky.
here’s a short clip of my 2 year old cockateil Dino. even though he can fly, he chooses not to more often than not. for example, he flew from his cage (which can be seen in the background of the video) to the top of the speaker. He then had to be “rescued” as he refused to fly the remaining 30cm to me ! i got him when he was very young (about 10 weeks old) he was hand raised from when he was 4 days (yes just 4 days old) he was kicked out of the nest by his parents at 4 days of age, and rescued by the lady i got him from. when i first saw him, he was less than the size of a squash ball, and had no feathers at all. im certain that he doesn’t know he’s a bird. when i bought him home, we were still hand feeding him on a parrot rearing mix with a spoon. he is usually in a better mood, and is normally very much the sook, looking for cuddles and attention. i will try to get better video shortly (when he is in a better mood) 
How should I go about giving my baby different foods?
I have a 7 month old cockatiel. I have had baby for 1 month now. I want to change her diet over to pellets. Yesturday. I put some seeds in her dish as always, but also added pellets too. Is this a good way to change this. I thought that I would slowly add more and more pellets to her dish. Does this sound right. Thanks
I just got a 5 mth old cockatiel. Is it a good idea to play him sound recordings of other birds, or will this ?

My cockatiel’s behavior?
I just got a cockatiel and she iz NOT EATING and being rly shy when i go close to her she runz away from me. sumthinz she even bitz me. she just stay at the same spot for about 3hrz. plz help me –
this is a question for anyone who knows a little bit about genetics in cockatiel breeding?
i breed my cockatiels and i plan on breeding one of the offspring of my pair with another bird. someone asked me if they could buy two of my cockatiels… male and female, and then breed them. so i was wondering if breeding a bird with the offspring of it’s sibling would give the babies the chance of genetic diseases caused by inbreeding… i read somewhere that it can’t but i think it was a little bit different of a scenario… so what do you think
oh, and i was also wondering if white cockatiels are sterile… i’m guessing no because i’ve never heard or read it anywhere but then again i’ve never seen a picture of a white cockatiel parent before
good because i just bought the SWEETEST white cockatiel ever and I think she would be a really great mom… maybe a little hyper but at any rate… i’m more worried about which of my immature boys will be an acceptable father
