Budgie in a Cockatiel Cage?
My budgie is in a small parakeet cage. I’ve just purchased from a friend a bigger cage on a stand, but it’s bars are horizontal (cockatiel cage) instead of vertical as in the parakeet cage. Is there any danger in moving my budgie to the cockatiel cage? Also, how should I transition him? I don’t want to scare him into a heart attack.

I have a 3-4 month old cockatiel he paces around his cage whenever I come in the room?
every time he goes over to his food and starts eating and then paces around the cage and when i walk away he squeeks until I wistle. then he turns his back to me and squeeks until I talk. He is to afraid to come out of his cage, but also acts like we are threatening him. I’ve offered him treats but he never takes them and screeches when any hand gets near the cage. what can I do?

should i take my cockatiel out of its cage?
my cockatiel will step on my finger when i put it in the cage. should i start taking her out now? i asked this question yesterday and i didn’t get a lot of help.
i’m also afraid that when i take her out she will get terrified and hurt herself. yes her wings are clipped but that doesn’t hinder her from trying to fly.

will my cockatiel and my sun conure get along together in the same cage or should i separate them?
i have a cockatiel and im getting a sun conure in a couple of days. i have separate cages but would it be ok for them to be together. i dont know too much about birds, my girlfriend does and she LOVES sun conures so im getting her one as a surprise(which is why i cant ask her) for when she gets back from iraq.

a baby cockatiel in a cage?
How old does a baby cockatiel have to be before I can put him in a cage without having to put towels on the floor. He can perch on the bottom perch but he will not climb in the cage or sit on the top perch. I cover the bottom so he won’t fall through the grate.
