Cockatiel and budgie personalities?

I have a 10 yr old cockatiel and a budgie (age unknown) that are good buddies and live together in a big aviary with toys. However all they seem to do is sit side-by-side on one perch and do nothing all day (occasionally they whistle and talk). They only move to eat or drink. I had other cockatiels that moved around and seemed active, but these 2 simply arent. They are only slightly tamed. Any suggestions to make them more active, or leave them be?
where would be a good website to look at to get free information on training a cockatiel?
We just added a new addition to the family and he acts up a bit and we want to get him out of his bad habits but i have looked at several different places just by google but it is all a bunch of crap that it is free… so if there is any website that you know of or any advice it would be a great help…

Dont get me wrong she is always played with and lots of hugs treats and toys she just is not interested in the toys.
She is only 8 weeks and i have had her for a week and i have never had a bird before.

Female Cockatiel wont shut up?
Hi, my partener rescued a female cockatiel (we don’t know what age) and now she wont shut up squarking! (the bird not my girlfriend). We have taken her to the vets and they say she is in really good health, she has lots of toys, the right food and fresh water. We let her out of the cage lots but she never shuts up in or out of the cage and she is very aggrassive towards us because she was never hand reared by her previous owner. Any ideas how to stop this terrible noise? I wouldn’t mind if it was a nice song but its just squark squark squark!

I got my cockatiel Louie about 2 weeks ago and it is not working im tamed it but not easy to play and not jus eat. I got it from a guy who has many other birds which i doubt hes a breeder.

My cockatiel has NO TAIL! Any help?
Shama, my cock, which to my aunts bird, until it berrascht me à ¼, 22 November 2007 with it presant an imminent Christmas. As I did not see it, it had a tail. My aunts both different parots, an African Grey and Scarlet Macaw, something from its tail frà ¼ ago this week. [My English orthography ignores please.] It erzählte me that the tail will not grow, but until today has it progress.
